Early access pages and features
What the Early access mark means, why some pages are not in your portal yet, and how to report a problem with a page in early access.
Footer365 adds new pages and features to the portal gradually. A new one is first made available to a few organisations, sometimes then to every organisation while it is still in early access, and finally to everyone once it is ready.
The Early access mark
A page or feature your organisation has in early access carries a small stars icon in the menu, in the search results and on the Roles page, and an Early access label beside the page's title or the feature's heading. Point at the label to read what it means.
An early access page or feature works like any other, and your roles decide who can see and change it in the same way. It is still being developed, so it may change before everyone has it.
When it is made available to everyone, the mark disappears. Nothing you set up in it changes.
Report a problem
Each early access page and feature has a Report a problem button beside its Early access label.
- Select Report a problem.
- Under What were you trying to do? and What happened?, describe the problem. One of the two is enough.
- Select Send report.
The report goes straight to the Footer365 team, who use it to fix the page or feature before everyone has it. Footer365 does not reply to reports. For help with something that has stopped working, contact your reseller or Footer365 support as usual.
Sent with your report lists what is attached: your organisation and your name, the page you are on and the last pages you opened in the portal, the time, your browser, and any error the page showed. Nothing from your messages or your people's details is sent.
Each person can send up to five reports an hour. Report a problem is only offered for pages and features in early access.
If a page or feature is not in your portal
A page described in this help centre that you cannot find may not be available to your organisation yet. Footer365 has not switched it on for you, so it is not in the menu, the search or the Roles page, and a link to it opens a Page not found page saying This page does not exist, or is not available to your organisation. Nothing you set up in it is lost. When it reaches your organisation, it appears in the menu like any other page.
Before deciding a page is not available, check that it is not simply outside your portal view or your role. See Choose how much of the portal you see.
