About email disclaimers

What must a UK company put in its emails?›
A UK limited company's business emails must show its registered name, its registered number, the part of the UK it is registered in, and its registered office address. The company registration notices here ask for exactly those. A VAT-registered business often adds its VAT number too.
Is this legal advice?›
No. The wording is a starting point that many organisations use. What your organisation needs depends on its circumstances and its regulator, so have it checked if you are unsure.
Is anything I type stored?›
No. The wording is filled in on this page, in your browser, and the form is never sent anywhere.
How do I add it to my emails?›
Paste it under your signature in your mail app's signature settings, or make a signature first. To add it to every message your organisation sends, from every device, Footer365 adds it for you from Microsoft 365.
